December is Jazzy! The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa's Fireplace Lounge. Things Heat Up This December at the Fireplace Lounge!

Monterey, Calif. –– The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa located at 1 Old Golf Course Road in Monterey offers music stylings during December, at the Fireplace Lounge! Jazz is in the air so join us for local favorites such as George Young and Mayumi.

Fireplace Lounge:
All jazz events at the Fireplace Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa are complimentary. Jazz times are 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Stop by and enjoy live jazz, a glass of award winning Monterey County wine and great appetizers and wood fired pizzas.

•         Saturday, December 1st - HYATT DIVA NIGHT - Join the singin' and swingin' fun as we feature some of the finest professional as well as up and coming "chick singers" from the Monterey peninsula and beyond!  Cheer for your very own favorite DIVA back up music by the David Morwood jazz band.
•         Friday December 7th and Saturday, December 8th - MAYUMI - Incredible vocalist from Japan, providing her own twist to jazz standards and pop tunes! with Bootza on bass, bBob Bassa guitar, David Morwood drums
•         Saturday, December 16th - DAVID MORWOOD jazz - from jazz to dance with pop and R&B mixed in.
•         Saturday, December 29th - GARY MEEK - This LA studio musician has toured and recorded with many great artists such as Dionne Warwick, Al Jerreau, Airto, and others with David Morwood drums
•         Monday, December 31st New Years Eve - Say goodbye to 2012 and give a swingin' hello to 2013 at the Hyatt Fireplace Lounge with David Morwood drums, Bill Spencer keyboards, the incredible Julie Capili singing, and other special guests!  Dining, dancing, drink specials, party favors, special chef's selection/full menu at adjacent TusCA Ristorante - reservations recommended.  The music swings from 7-10 on weekend nights listed above.  New Years Eve music from 8-12:30
