Local notables will serve as bartenders of the event, and will include Patrick Dearborn, Stuart Dunkin, Dave Elliot, Ted Farah, Mark Gabel, Amy Landrum, Dan Leaman, Charlie McDonald, Barry Nicholls, Mary Ramos, Nannette Staropoli, Dr. Debi Strand, Kristen Weardon and Saundra Weintraub. More bartenders will be added to the lineup as the event approaches.
Matt Berman, owner of Noodles Italian Café and Sushi Bar, along with his brother, Seth, said that they have partnered with the three local charities as a way for them to give back to the community, adding, “We realized long ago that our community is an extension of our own family. When our family needs help, we want to give. These three charities help numerous people in a variety of ways in our community, and helping them is our way of giving thanks at this time of year.”
The cost for one ticket will be $20, and include a variety of foods served from a buffet, plus a ticket for one free drink. Tickets for the fundraiser may be purchased at the door. Entertainment will be provided by “The Manhattan Connection.”
Collier Child Care Resources, Inc. is a private, non-profit child care agency that serves children, families and early learning professionals that has had offices in Collier County since 1991, and expanded their offices to include Immokalee in 2001. In May, 2008, their focus became Collier County-specific, and officially became Collier Child Care Resources, Inc.
