NAIOP New Jersey Accepting Nominations for 26th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards

Nov. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Nominations are now open for the most prestigious awards in the real estate community: The New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, will present the 26th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards at the Gala on May 9, 2013 at the Palace at Somerset Park.

The awards honor excellence in commercial and industrial real estate development, including innovation, impact, leadership and contributions to the community. The deadline for nominations is Monday, December 31, 2012 at 5 p.m. Details and the nomination form are available at naiopnj.org/26Gala.

Awards will be given in the following categories:

Impact Awards: Recognize up to two firms and/or individuals, at least one of which is a member of the New Jersey Chapter, that have had a significant impact on New Jersey's commercial and industrial real estate development industry.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Recognizes an individual who has had a distinguished and long-standing record of service to the industry and community, as well as significant personal accomplishments.

Industry Service Award: Recognizes a firm, individual or entity that has made a substantial contribution to the commercial and industrial real estate industry in support of the industry's goals.

Information on submitting entries for the Deal of the Year competition will be announced soon.



DESIGN COMPETITION

The design competition is open to NAIOP New Jersey members and non-members (age 18 and older), who are design professionals, as well as students studying art, architecture and design. The winning design will define the color scheme, lighting and staging, and will be the template for marketing materials, signs, invitations, cocktail napkins, linens and the PowerPoint Awards Presentation. The deadline for entries is also December 31, 2012 at 5 p.m.

The winning designer will receive prizes and promotional benefits valued at approximately $2,000. In addition, the winning design and designer will be featured in a news release and in NAIOP New Jersey Chapter publications.
