Gorilla Aluminium Security Gates are manufactured using high strength aluminium alloys.  These security gates are built to form a strong barrier to entry through swing doors and sliding doors.

Gorilla Aluminium Swing Security Gates are manufactured using Amplimesh Type 103, a slotted and stretched aluminium alloy extrusion, which is framed by a hollow section aluminium extrusion to convert it into a high strength gate. An outer hanging frame is used to attach to the swing gate to the door frame in a simple, secure manner.

Two concealed fix aluminium hinges hold the gate in position while locking is achieved with a dead lock mechanisium, the only galvanised mild steel component in the product. The swing door is a surface mounted product i.e. it is fixed to the face of the door frame.
The hollow section gate frame extrusion has an integrated slot into which an insect screen can be fitted if desired.

The advantages of a Gorilla Aluminium Security Gate are:

•   They do not rust. Our gates have been fitted 100m from the coast and are still in perfect working order 20 years later. The galvanised mild steel locks have to be replaced every now and again but the gate is still 100% functional. The locks are available locally and easily replaced. As we use top class powder coating techniques, the gates never have to be re-painted.
•   The Amplimesh type 103 has a small enough aperture to ensure monkeys, cats, dogs and other animals cannot enter through the openings. This will ensure that absolutely no unwanted intruders can enter.
•   When insect screen is included the gate will prevent any flying pests i.e. flies, mosquitoes etc., from getting inside. The Amplimesh also protects the insect screen so it is a lot harder to damage or tear it.
•   The gate is available in a DIY format for standard doors. A simple selection chart will allow you to select the gate best suited for your application.
