Coldwell Banker Sells Former Home of Roger Revelle for $8.5 Million

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 20, 2012 - Following the sale of an oceanfront home in La Jolla in March 2012 recorded by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the company has now announced the sale of another La Jolla oceanfront home this year at $8.5 million, according to the San Diego Multiple Listing Service (MLS). The former home of famed scientist Dr. Roger Revelle was sold by La Jolla agent Linda Marrone, an architectural and historic real estate specialist.

The two-story home aptly coined “Casa del Lido” (Home on the Beach), had been in the Revelle family since it was built in 1922. According to the Revelle family, the sellers of the property, they are pleased that the home has now passed on to a new family who appreciates its beautiful setting and legacy.
