Info.net states “with a background in publishing, I wanted to create a place where every person in a community would feel that they could share anything from opinions to community news heard across the fence. With my team, we created a free nationwide online newspaper with local news and events.”
Through the initial launch of Area-Info.net in select markets (including:
Logan, Utah; Ogden, Utah; Salt Lake City, Utah; Castle Rock, Colorado; and Denville, New Jersey), it is now growing in other parts of the United States.
Mr. Everton goes on to explain, “The goal of

We believe that by giving everyone a platform to share their voice, people will become empowered and have the ability to effect change in their communities. With the free platform, one of the major hurdles is removed for people who want to share their voice.“
Area-Info.net has unique features to help communities become closer. Some of these are features that have been bandied about by groups wanting a single location where people can post events on a calendar, archived articles which are easily found and a truly local newspaper where they can get news they want.
