Nov. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Nashua, NH (November 21, 2012) - Cyber Monday is upon us and that means parents are ready to go online and seek out the newest sports video game on the top of their child’s wish list this holiday season. Now, courtesy of Insightful Player and Lifeville.com, there’s a new free online game available for students to play that teaches them positive life lessons by interacting with real NFL players.

An Insightful Player® is a person of integrity, such as a current or former NFL player, who shares their personal message of hope for the sole purpose of lifting the spirits of all, especially children. Insightful Players include such names as Roger Staubach (Dallas Cowboys), Jerricho Cotchery (Pittsburgh Steelers), Montell Owens (Jacksonville Jaguars), and other players who use their stories to make a difference in people’s lives. All players are featured in the Insightful Player e-book which is free to download.

Last fall, The Insightful Player book, featuring the first 32 Insightful Players was released by Morgan James Publishing. Since then, Insightful Player teamed with Lifeville.com to launch The Insightful Player Game (http://www.lifeville.com/games/insightful-player-game/), a free online game for youth that utilizes the Guiding Principles of the NFL players featured in the book.

Each player chapter in the Insightful Player book ends with the Guiding Principles that the player has followed in his life. Students will explore the Insightful Player book along with the website to find new and exciting ways to work guiding principles into their every day life.

Examples of Guiding Principles are:

Jerricho Cotchery, Pittsburgh Steelers - Wide Receiver

Guiding Principle: Recognize that everyone makes bad decisions; your success comes not from making only good decisions but from learning what you did wrong.

Rashied Davis, Detroit Lions (current free agent) - Wide Receiver and Special Teams Ace

Guiding Principle: Learn how to play every bad hand well regardless of your situation.

Usama Young, Cleveland Browns - Don’t let the bad things get you down. Muster up the courage to keep going and find something to smile about, regardless of your situation. And while you are at it, put a smile on someone else’s face.

Insightful Players are involved in the Lifeville game.  Players have posted videos on SchoolTube.com about their Guiding Principles, which are also posted on the Game site, which provide goals for kids to attain.  Former Retired NFL linebacker Danny Clark (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNmEeekosIQ) has recorded an introduction to the game on the Insightful Player website.

Chrissy Carew founded Insightful Player in 2010. As a Hall of Fame Master Certified personal and business coach, Carew is confident the game will provoke positive actions and insights for kids.

“The Insightful Player game on Lifeville.com allows us to incorporate life coaching into the lives of kids as they get the chance to learn life lessons from the inspirational stories of NFL Players and put them on a path to reach their dreams,” said Carew.

“Kids gravitate to online social games,” says Lifeville Founder, Dave Buck, “We feel the Insightful Player® game will be something they will not only want to play, but more importantly, unlike most other online games, they will come away with knowledge they can apply to their lives.”
