Kids Toothbrush Club launches website to provide monthly oral health and motivational tools to memb

When a parent and child subscribe to Kids Toothbrush Club, the child will receive a monthly shipment that includes a fresh, new toothbrush along with a fun kit designed to provide hours of motivational and educational activities that create good oral health habits.   Research shows that children should change their toothbrush monthly to prevent the spread of bacteria and germs and get the best cleaning possible to prevent plaque, tarter and cavities.

Kids Toothbrush Club promotes good health through dental hygiene education. Each month the child will receive a new toothbrush and a fun new activity kit. They stress the use of rewards and positive reinforcement and by providing educational and motivational tools for parents and children they are helping to create life-long healthy oral hygiene habits.

Each Kids Toothbrush Club kit includes:

·         One age appropriate toothbrush

·         Monthly activity coloring book with challenging activities meant for developing critical thinking skills, motor skills, visual awareness, vocabulary skills, and spelling skills all that support healthy oral hygiene.

·         Themed calendar which allows the parent and child to monitor their daily brushing. The child is rewarded with a star sticker to place on the calendar each time he brushes his teeth. The calendar also reinforces counting skills, tracking skills, and develops a sense of accomplishment.

·         Sticker sheet provides 120 star stickers for daily use when brushing. Also included are multiple large stickers for the child to note special occasions and accomplishments, including Happy Birthday and New Tooth in addition to 4 Jake and Judy stickers

Kits are available in two age ranges appropriate for children ages toddler to five and for ages five and up and shipping is free on each Kids Toothbrush Club membership.

The Kids Toothbrush Club started out of a mission to help raise funds and dental hygiene awareness for children in lower economic areas. Although these children need many of the basic essentials in life, toothbrushes are often overlooked in their daily necessities.

As a mother of two children herself, she found the use of positive reinforcement and rewarding good behaviors with her children and students works best to motivate and build good habits.
