The contest series will run through March 15, 2013, asking participants to submit 90-second videos or still photos featuring buildings, landscapes, cars, graffiti or anything else that best portrays Detroit and relates to the specific contest.
The theme for the series, “cars, culture and pride” challenges photographers and videographers of all skill levels to capture the true spirit, passion and energy of the Motor City. The Motor City Cruise is looking for powerful and creative photos and videos that demonstrate Detroit in a positive light.
“We want to focus on the heart of what drives this region, cars aside,” said Omar Guttierez, Motor City Project founder. “Past, present and future, we are interested in showcasing the buildings, landscapes and people of the D.”
