Former Cognizant Executive Prakash Gurumoorthy Joins Group FMG as Managing Director, India

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 20, 2012 - India, November 20, 2012 – Group FMG, an omni-channel content and e-commerce solutions company, announced today that Prakash Gurumoorthy has been appointed the Managing Director, India. In this role, Prakash will be responsible for managing Group FMG in India, including all aspects of business development, technology, strategy, operations, and P&L in the region. He will be based out of Group FMG's cutting-edge production facility in Chennai.

Group FMG's production center in Chennai focuses on creating sophisticated solutions in areas such as e-commerce, rich content production and channel specific solutions (such as social and mobile apps). The ultra-modern 25,000 square foot center specializes in high end design, content and technical applications across media platforms.

Prakash joins Group FMG from Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ: CTSH), where he managed a $100m portfolio based out of New York and New Jersey. Prior to this, Prakash was the COO at Photon Infotech Ltd., a mobile apps and cloud experience company, where he built the organization from the ground-up to become a multi-million dollar enterprise with over 1400 employees.
