Nov. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Notching up almost 40 art exhibitions in 20 years, the livelihood and reputation of Swiss-born artist, Christina Niederberger, depends on a reliable delivery service.  Anglo Pacific has transported her paintings from London to Switzerland, unscathed, for a long ten years.

Christina comments, “Shipping fragile artwork over long distances from the studio to exhibition venues always creates a lot of additional stress and anxiety.  There are often precise deadlines to be met as well as a maze of paperwork for customs clearance – it’s tricky not to start imagining all the things that could go wrong.  Thankfully every time I have used Anglo Pacific there has never been a heart-stopping moment or a glitch.  They never tire of my anxious calls looking for reassurance that things are going to plan – in fact it’s like getting in touch with an old friend I can rely on.”

Christina first enlisted Anglo Pacific’s services a decade ago when she was shipping from London to a gallery in Switzerland for a solo exhibition.  What started as a simple word-of-mouth recommendation has turned into a long-standing relationship where Anglo Pacific has handled all the international artist’s shipments to date.  With consignments of between four and 20 paintings, the largest weighing in at almost two metres in height, some are very delicate such as spray paint on canvas or varnish on Perspex.  It’s vitally important the artwork is handled with care.

Terry Horsnell, Anglo Pacific’s Fine Art Consultant, says, “Offering value for money and professionalism are one thing, but understanding the nerve-wracking experience that an artist goes through is another, and that’s what Anglo Pacific prides itself on.  We’re adept at wrapping, storing and transporting anything from rare antiques to entire theatre sets and we always take the utmost care when we work towards tight deadlines.”

Christina is exhibiting in December at the Centre PasquArt, Biel, Switzerland, and then 12 of her paintings will be shown at DuflonRacz Gallery in Bern, Switzerland, from 11 January 2013.  Visit   www.niederberger-paint.ch for details.
