Doherty expands into Wisconsin with Eau Claire staffing agency office

Doherty Staffing Solutions, a Minnesota-based staffing and placement agency, has expanded into Wisconsin with a new office located in Eau Claire.

“After over 30 years building our business in Minnesota, we are very excited to cross the river and start helping Wisconsin’s workforce connect with great companies,” said Allan Brown, President of Doherty Staffing Solutions. “We are actively supporting the St. Croix River Valley region with temporary staffing and direct placement, so this is a natural outgrowth for us. Doherty Staffing Solutions in Eau Claire will provide staffing for light industrial, clerical and administrative, and call center operations. In addition, the Doherty Career Solutions division will connect candidates in engineering, IT, finance, management, and other professional fields with local companies through direct placement services.

Brown said, “We’re experienced in all aspects of employment and have an in-house legal team to assist clients with employment law questions, as well as worker’s compensation, payrolling services, and other HR-related needs. We’re full-service employment experts.”

New jobs for Western Wisconsin workers

The office on Golf Terrace Road will initially house 3 staff members, led by Business Development Manager Amanda Kunferman, an Eau Claire native. Kunferman said, “We are prepped and ready to dive in and start connecting people with jobs as soon as the doors open. I grew up in Eau Claire and I know how important it is that good jobs and steady employment are a permanent part of the community. Wisconsin has the best workers anywhere, and Doherty will bring them together with the businesses and organizations that contribute to strong economic growth in our towns and cities.”

Grand opening event planned for January

The doors open at the end of November without any fanfare planned, but the Doherty Staffing Solutions team is working on a larger celebration to take place in January that will be open to the community.
