Brian Duff on line gallery art show opens at avframing.com

AV Framing Services, Indianapolis, opens a brand new gallery show of acrylic paintings by artist, Brian Duff on its VIRTUAL Gallery site, avframing.com. "Gladiator I" will open on Small Business Saturday.

Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- AV Framing Services is proud to introduce the newest collection of paintings by artist, Brian Duff.  The on line gallery show opens on Small Business Saturday, November 24, 2012 at avframing.com.

The selections in this grouping of paintings include sensitive and pensive studies of flowers and also beasts that are at turn comic and other times dark. The image of bull, matador is not a direct reference of
Picasso's. It has a meaning that branches from a visit to a cattle auction and the idea of gladiator- to which the victims of violence may identify, even if for the longest time only to themselves. In the case of the gladiator, I have identified with the one more brave. Man or animal I've yet to decide which is more deserving of that credit.

ARTIST STATEMENT: Brian Duff was given to the Duff home. He has tried to escape by his art and music memories of a past which no amnesia can dissuade. They are overwhelming. His diagnosis is true, schizoaffective, but it makes all coinciding memories appear a thing of delusion. So he has decided to pick up where he left off- artist, musician.
