The two-door hybrid’s updates will include cosmetic changes, like a slightly new style, a new mesh grille, chrome accents and a pair of new paint color options. It will also include new features on the interior, like a spruced-up interior look, standard Bluetooth and a back-up camera.
Underneath the hood, the 2013 CR-Z will boast more power and an improved battery. The new battery, a 144-volt lithium-ion, will increase the car’s electric motor output from 10 kW to 15 kW. This upgrade will increase the CR-Z’s total power ratings to 130 horsepower and 140 lb-feet of torque. Even the gas mileage on the 2013 CR-Z stands to be improved, with a rating of 36/39 mpg city/highway.
The 2013 Honda CR-Z is scheduled to go on sale November 21 and will start at $20,765.
