Blanche's Gifts Opens In Chickasaw Nov. 23

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 19, 2012 - CHICKASAW, AL.     Blanche’s Gifts, LLC. located at 67 West Lee Street in Chickasaw opens on Friday, November 23, with store hours from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.   The store is owned  by local Chickasaw businesswoman, Teresa Goolsby. Her daughter Shannon Griffin is the store manager.

         “Blanche’s Gifts offers the individual who gives hand-crafted items as gifts a place to purchase these items,” said owner Teresa Goolsby. “It is our goal to add more local artists’ creations as we grow,” said .Goolsby.

The gift shop offers shoppers a selection of gifts ranging from artwork, jewelry, gift baskets, wreaths, candles, soaps, baby items, Winter Silhouettes Department 56 collectibles.  And, just in time for the holiday season, the store will offer  hand-made ornaments, stockings, vintage postcards, historic Chickasaw notecards, and dog treats.

“It is important that local artists have a place to promote their products in North Mobile County,” said Goolsby.  She added that she is looking for unique items to showcase, and said that they even carry Alabama and Auburn logoed candles, pillows and soaps.
