Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- With multiple orders and enquiries including four sales of their prestigious Monaco Mercedes Sprinter luxury minicoaches, the Essex based conversion and mobility specialists created an Ian-Flemming-esq show on their popular stand.

All staff members donned dark grey branded shirts and trousers, classic metallic silver and black presentation stand and their 5000th and 5001st vehicle conversions for a luxury Mercedes Sprinter and a wheelchair accessible Sprinter. To round off the class, a top of the range Aston Martin DBS pulled in the crowds and there were several Daniel Craig ‘wannabees’ fighting for a photo opportunity.

The impressive new Mercedes Sprinter 513 Extra Long Wheelbase with rear extensions to incorporate the coach rear end, affectionately branded as the Monaco range by Stanford, has been modelled on the British manufacturing classic, the Aston Martin. Leather stitching trim, metallic graphite grey paintwork and the interior finishing touches offer a unique spin on the James Bond famous car within a humble minibus.

Special conversion features include an automatic gearbox, bonded panoramic coach windows, 16 grand rally politecnica seats, Eberspacher Air conditioning, side skirts and full audio system with TV.

All orders for the exclusive Monaco are accompanied by an Aston Martin Driving Day Experience at the famous Silverstone Circuit in the Midlands.

The brand new wheelchair accessible minibus, on show prior to being delivered to long-standing client Burnt Tree, was Stanford’s 50001st vehicle conversion. It stood proud in metallic silver next to its luxury counterpart as a necessity in today’s world of essential mobility aid. Special features include an automatic gearbox, front entry, SCW M2 tested flat floor system, 15 removable phoenix seats, Eberspacher Climate Control Heating & Air Conditioning and a rear PLS Internal wheelchair lift.

All in all an extremely successful experience for Stanford Coachworks and one that turned more than a few green eyes.
