ABOUT VALERIE GOODMAN GALLERY
Valerie Goodman Gallery was established in 2010 to introduce emerging contemporary French artists
working with objects and furniture to American audiences with the goal of promoting beautiful and joyful living environments. Prior to opening the gallery Valerie Goodman worked with acclaimed New York art dealer, Tom Thomas.
Collaborating with decorators, collectors, galleries, institutions and foundations the gallery is looking to foster meaningful international exchanges. Valerie Goodman Gallery opened with an exhibition of Bohemian glass and bronze vases by Eric Schmitt, followed by two exhibitions of work by Jacques Jarrige in 2010 and 2012. Valerie Goodman gallery also represents Sylvain Subervie’s masterpieces in wrought iron and rock crystal, Pierre Bonnefille, master of texture and color and Cristina Salusti’s exceptional work in stoneware and gold. Each artist represented at the gallery has established a strong individual vocabulary to produce work that is meaningful, collectible and timeless.
