The C5ISR Summit is organized by Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA) and the theme for this year is Anti-Access and Area Denial through Innovative Technologies. Scott Crawford, CSA’s SPAWAR Account Manager, and Pete Tomczak, Director of Operations, National Capital Region, will both be in attendance.
“Coming on the heels of our recent Pillars Contract awards, the C5ISR Summit is a great opportunity for CSA to expand our local Charleston area presence,” said Scott Crawford. “Several of our current clients are contributing to the agenda and there will be many opportunities to network with new clients and industry partners at this well attended event.”
The event features networking opportunities, panels, exhibits and presentations from various keynote speakers including Mr. Terry Halvorson (DON CIO) and RDML Jerry Burroughs (PEO-C4I). This year the CDCA has also organized the 2nd Annual Mobile App Competition, a competition encouraging high school and college students to create an innovative smart phone application. Each applicant is required to create a video demonstrating how the app can be used by the general public. C5ISR exhibitors will have the opportunity to watch finalist videos and find out which contestant will walk away with up to $3,500 in scholarship funds.
CSA is proud to be a part of yet another event that fosters a collaborative relationship between government officials and their industry partners. In the future, CSA plans to continue to expand their corporate network by attending various industry events, such as the AFCEA West in January 2013.
CSA would like to wish all US Veteran's a Happy Veterans Day! Thank you for serving our country.
