The National Union of Student's March - Wednesday 21st November

The National Union of Student’s March will take place in London on Wednesday 21st November and will result in a number of route restrictions and transport closures.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 19, 2012 - The route of the march will be closed to traffic but there will also be a number of closures on adjacent streets for traffic management purposes and safety reasons.

As with all events Mapping specialists PIE will provide route restriction information and impacted postcodes for freight operators and local authorities.

Some road closure restrictions will be in place as early as 7am on the day of the event, however the bulk of restrictions will be in place from 10am, and remain in place for the rest of the morning and into the afternoon.

The march will start on the Embankment at Temple and travel south to the Houses of Parliament before crossing the river and heading down to Kennington Park where a rally will take place.

PIE Mapping has put together data detailing the impact of closed roads and the inaccessible areas based on day and night time restrictions.

This data is available via the PIE Data Exchange (www.piedataexchange.com/shop/category/ events-this-week (http://www.piedataexchange.com/shop/category/events-this-...)) as well as TfL’s Freight Journey Planner - http://freightplanner.tfl.gov.uk.
