Another notable feature of the Thermatool CFI (Current Fed Inverter) Welder is the patented AutoMatch™ technology, which provides automatic load impedance matching, ensuring full power is delivered to the load at the selected nominal frequency, minimising power loss, thus leading to increased production efficiency.
Thermatool product manager Mr Wayne Hine adds “The installation of the 200kW induction welder has replaced an old welder at the Nikopol plant which utilised valve/vacuum welding technology. Within 2 weeks of start-up, Mr Sergii Marchenko, owner of the Nikopol plant, has reported a significant decrease in downtime and scrap output, whilst drastically decreasing line electricity consumption by 50%”
