The fundraising department at Andover & District Mencap works with the community to raise funds for people to aid all of them.
Kevin Barnett organized our involvement and saw it as great opportunity to support a local cause.
“We paired up with the chairman of the charity, Simon Tyler and helped promote ‘normal living’ for people with disabilities.”
Kevin continued:
“We demonstrated products and provided makeovers for some of the ladies that feel that they are usually excluded from regular activities in day to day life. It was very rewarding and everybody a lot of fun, we helped to raise money and awareness for the charity and even Simon had a makeover!”
