Co-ed roller derby pickup bout

November 18, 2012, Denton, TX: On December 8, 2012, House of Quad will be hosting a Holiday mash-up.

Doors open at 4:30 with a starting whistle at 5:00. The action starts with a women's-only intermediate bout and moves on to a no-holds-barred, advanced, co-ed rumble. Rolling Rebellion – north Texas' only co-ed junior league – will also be playing an exposition game. Come see skaters from DFW and beyond battle it out.

All events are BYOB (no glass, 21+ only with alcohol please) and BYO chair. Tickets available for $12 through etix.com (http://www.brownpapertickets.com/) or directly through the HOQ website at ntderbyrevolution.com. Tickets may also be available on the day of the bout for $15. Children 12 and under are free. Join skaters and fans for the after party at the Abbey Underground on the historic Denton Square.

House of Quad oversees NTDR women's roller derby, Denton County Outlaws men's roller derby, and Rolling Rebellion junior (unisex) derby. The sport of roller derby has been growing quickly around the world, and HOQ has put Denton and North Texas on the map with 3 leagues and a new derby-only facility.
