"We began by providing cards and stuffed animals to a few children in hospitals but over time we have expanded to providing care essentials and age appropriate items to children in homeless shelters, foster care, hospitals and children facing medical challenges. We believe the name, Sunshine Mail Foundation, better reflects all of the services that we provide to children" says Stephanie Busby, Executive Director.
In 2013, Sunshine Mail Foundation has set a goal to reach more children in homeless shelters with their Sunshine Mail care packages that provide comfort, support and joy through care essentials and other age appropriate items.
