Marlborough author and resident, K. James has published "JPKmos And The Stone Angels” a book that is about two brothers Josh and Phil and their younger sister Kristen Mos set in Glastonbury Connecticut in the summer of 2009.  This story is filled with the suspense of danger and touching human relationships, in an extraordinary saga about what once was a moon of the Earth called Threa and its survivor’s hopes hidden in the hearts and minds of the three children born of both worlds. Josh, Phil, and Kristen Mos are hunted by Threan DNA Dominates who have brought their war from their long lost moon to Earth, where battle is to the death and the strongest of the species survives by harvesting the DNA of the weak.

My name is K. James. I am a single parent having raised my three children from an early age by myself, and I live in a small town in Connecticut surrounded by friends and family. I enjoy the maturation of my three loving children Josh, Phil and Kristen, oh yes the three of them are indeed real people. This continuing saga is based on each of them, and my eternal love for the three of them and my grandson Luke, who will someday join in the pages of future books. What better joy can a parent have than to write about their children, combining fact with fiction for the entertainment of everyone. I have written for most of my life but this will be my first of hopefully many novels. My dream is to write for a living one day, spending time laughing with my children and grandchildren while discovering great places and wonderful people along this journey called life. Through it all I have taught my children the one constant they can always rely on in their lives, that we are all once and forever a family. Below is one of the very first excerpt I ever wrote, and to this day the words I am most proud of:

“I’m humbled by the silent majesty of each new dawn. Hoping, as I stop to stare at the newly painted sky, that my soul will be refreshed , and lift me to a place under the early morning clouds where I’ll find truth and wisdom, love and compassion, and contentment for my lot in life. In that precious moment, as I stand before the face of God, I thank him for my children, and one more day to love them.”
