The school playground wore a festive look with colorful flags. The school principal Mrs Renu Shorey read the school report and started the days proceedings.
The torch was lit by the chief guest Shri Krishnam Raju and carried by the students. Shri Krishnam Raju hoisted the flag and declared the sports meet open. Interesting races like Rendezvous with Egypt, Whacky Waiter Race , Engine Shunting Race and the 4 X 50 meters Relay Races were conducted. The children also displayed their karate, aerobic and gymnastic skills. The parents also participated enthusiastically in the races.
Shri Krishnam Raju, congratulated the management for organizing such a grand function. He told the students that they were lucky to have such a beautiful and spacious school premises and play ground. This is a perfect place where body, mind coordination develops. He was happy to witness that the school is providing both academic as well as extracurricular activities to the students.
Shri Sagi Venkatapathy Raju also congratulated the children and the school on their excellent display of agility, discipline and strength. He stressed the importance of sports in the overall development of the child. He highlighted that sports and games help to develop the character of a person by generating bonding and a feeling of team spirit along with tolerance and sportsmanship. He appreciated the lush green campus and the ample space and facilities the school provided for sports. He also narrated some incidents from his illustrious career and expressed the hope that the school flourished to greater heights.
Shri Mohammed Rizwan, Shri Sagi Venkatapathy Raju, Shri Krishnam Raju and Shri Praveen Raju gave prizes to the students and parents for their excellent performance in various competitions held on the occasion of the Sports Meet.
The program ended with a Vote Of Thanks by the school coordinator Mrs Deepa Kapoor.
