Shibuya Hoppmann Corporation Introduces
Brand-New Bulk Conveyor, Made in the USA
October 25, 2012, Elkwood, VA – SHIBUYA HOPPMANN CORPORATION, a member of the Shibuya Group and a leading engineering machine manufacturer of automation systems packaging equipment, introduces the new EC-Series Bulk Product Conveyor. The new conveyor can be used as a bulk conveying system or can be modified to accommodate a bulk hopper for any prefeeding need and is entirely manufacturered in the United States.
The low cost EC-Series Bulk Product Conveyor uses formed edge product rails, which are slotted to adjust the amount of clearance between the belt cleats and the sidewalls. The conveyor sports rugged 3/8” thick belt cleats for heavy duty applications and a product well at the base to prevent parts from falling. Another feature of the new conveyor achieves speeds of over 60 feet per minute, which allows for the movement of large quantities of parts. “We designed and manufactured the EC to offer new options to our customers, which allows them to further utilize their work force, and to value add to the conveyor,” stated Gary Marsh, Executive VP Sales, for Shibuya Hoppmann.
The new conveyor also boasts a 304 stainless steel construction and FDA/USDA approved white PVC belt with heavy duty 2” tall cleats. Other available options for customizing the conveyor include longer conveyor lengths, other cleat pitches, and custom chutes.
