Farmer Boy AG Adds Plastic Feed Bin Lids to Product Line

Nov. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Farmer Boy Ag announces the addition of Plastic Feed Bin Lids by Automated Production Systems and Cumberland Poultry to its list of new products. This new feed bin lid design will solve the issue of bin lids flying open, utilizing magnetic force to keep the lid closed and bin sealed.

The Plastic Feed Bin Lid design introduces the use of an internal magnet in effort to keep the lid down. The lid uses a simplified clamp-band installation to the peak ring, and the reinforced rubber bumper provides protection to the peak ring. The design of the clamp-band allows installation in 360 degree orientation, and the lid adapts to 30 or 40 degree roof profiles. Plastic Feed Bin Lids are made of all plastic linear high-density polyethylene (HDPE). HDPE is a harder, durable, mostly opaque material designed to withstand temperatures between -148º F and 248º F and all weather conditions. The lid swings fully open on 7’ diameter bins and larger and is factory assembled for easy installation or retro-fitting needs.
