Campbell went missing on December 27, 1994 when Stephanie was a young girl. Cook says, "There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about my mother and it is especially hard during the holidays." Knowing other families are feeling the same pain, Cook decided that having a yearly awareness event is a good way for families to get together and to share memories and photos of their missing loved ones. She encourages anyone who wishes to have a table to contact her at email@example.com. Attendees are asked to bring a dessert as "pot luck" refreshments will be served. A balloon release will also be a part of the event. The public is also invited to come and help support the families.
