Barry MacQuarrie of KAF Financial Group Featured Speaker at CCH User Conference

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 15, 2012 - Barry MacQuarrie, LinkedIn Consultant for KAF Financial Group, was a featured speaker at the eighth annual CCH User Conference, held Nov. 4-7 in San Diego, CA.

MacQuarrie spoke on the topic of Using LinkedIn as a Business Development Tool.  The annual conference, a networking forum for industry experts and other CCH (Commercial Clearing House) users, was attended this year by over a thousand CPAs and technology professionals from the United States and Canada.

MacQuarrie is a Social Media Consultant and the Director of Technology at KAF Financial Group.   He is the author of the SocialCPAs.com blog and is a monthly contributor to the AICPA’s CPA Insider.

MacQuarrie has been published in the MSCPA SumNews, the AICPA’s InfoTech Update and Corporate Finance Insider, the Boomer Bulletin and The Progressive Accountant. He also serves on the CCH Connections: User Conference Customer Advisory Committee and as a Vice President of his local Toastmasters Club. He has presented for the AICPA, the MSCPA, CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, JHI Association, XCM Solutions, Boomer Consulting, and various CPA firm associations. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and served as the chair of the MSCPA’s Information Technology Committee. MacQuarrie earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Babson College.
