Made with components that break down safely in nature, ThermoPod® mailer envelopes are "green" alternatives to plastic bubble envelopes and cooler type foam boxes. The outer surface of a ThermoPod mailer is a waterproof poly film while the inner surface is a perforated poly film. An innovative proprietary ultra-insulating padding is sandwiched between the outer and inner films. The insulation is made from a carefully selected blend of cotton and wool recycled textile fibers that are purified, flocked, and bonded together, producing the soft natural ultra-insulating material. The insulation also includes an EPA-approved anti-microbial additive for cross-contamination prevention and super absorbent fibers for containment of accidental spills or undesirable condensation from thawing gel packs.

The mailer, which is reusable, is disposable with ordinary trash. A patented additive accelerates biodegradation in a landfill environment over time (i.e. longer than a year) depending upon conditions and when in presence of microorganisms.

The unique bottom gusseted design of the mailers allows for increased content space while utilizing a smaller dimensional weight when compared to traditional plastic bubble envelopes. The ThermoPod Mailers are available in three standard sizes (9" x 11", 12" x 14", and 14" x 18"). Custom sizes are available at no extra charge.
