PRLog -- Dr. Nitin Bawa President and founder of Dr. Bawa and Associates are pleased to announce Jill Smith has joined the practice. Smith is a Certified Physician Assistant and grew up in Mississippi where she attended Mississippi College. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Medical Sciences. After graduation she accepted a position as Clinical Research Coordinator, in neurologic drug trials, with Bradenton Research Center, in Bradenton, FL. In December 2007 she relocated to the Emerald Coast and worked as a Research Coordinator for an academic research department. After two years she was accepted into Physician Assistant School, at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee where she graduated with her Masters of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2011. She has worked in Pulmonary Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Immediate Care after graduation in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. “Jill has a passion for research and enjoyed her time conducting trials, we are happy to welcome her experience to our practice” stated Bawa. Jill currently resides in Seagrove with her husband and dogs, where she enjoys running on 30-A and spending time with her family on the beach.
