Each new release of KRYSTAL™ DMS brings new features and product improvements. The following is a summary of the new or improved features that were added in the KRYSTAL™ DMS - Standard Edition Version 6.0 release that support the implementation of the paperless office.

Included in this release is :
NEW - Document Expiry & Notifications
Administrators can now define default expiry period on each document class. Users are allowed to define expiry on each document. Users can subscribe to get notification on expiring documents in advance.
Enhanced - Document Security
Document classes can now be defined for public access or can be restricted to user level. Users can view only view documents created by themselves if the class is defined with User level restrictions.
Administrator can also define users to have restricted search and view access or full search and view access.
Enhanced - Document Search
Users can now also search documents basis, expiration date along with filters such as empty index or non-empty indexes.
NEW & Enhanced - User Interface
The latest version provides rich user interface and easy navigation. The new workspace screen allows users to access document classes, document views (DocViews), bookmarks etc from single location.
Document class usage statistics are now displayed in graphs to enhance management view of the system.

The following browsers are supported in KRYSTAL™ DMS - Standard Edition Version 6.0 :
