Now THAT is multi-tasking - Pinehill Hospital Staff Nurse is congratulated

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 15, 2012 - Tina Worsley, Staff Nurse at Pinehill Hospital has just been awarded a First Class Honours Degree in Contemporary Nursing from the University of Hertfordshire. This was a three year course, 2 yrs of which have been spent working at Pinehill. Tina returned to nursing after a 16 year break and felt it was something she needed to do when she saw how much had changed in nursing in that time. This was made even more challenging by the fact that Tina also had to complete her Nursing Diploma simultaneously. Add to this the fact that she has three children, two dogs and a husband who travels, we think she deserves a medal for her achievement, never mind a degree!

Tina said “I would like to thank Pinehill and my colleagues for their support and encouragement during some very stressful times!”. Mary Barrett, Matron added “we are extremely proud of Tina who has worked extremely hard balancing family, work and education. Another sign that Pinehill, with its staff, are achieving great things!” Well done Tina!

Pinehill Exhibits

Pinehill took part in one of the biggest Business to Business exhibitions in North Hertfordshire has ever seen. Pinehill offered an incentive of a free prize draw to win a full Health Screening and, in the process collected nearly 300 contact details of local business owners, entrepreneurs and corporate managers. This was a great way of networking with local business owners, big and small and was extremely cost effective (£200 for the day). A great way to ‘spread the ‘Pinehill word’!
