Toronto (ON), Canada - November 14, 2012 - Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of LinkOptimizer 4.7.8, a feature update to its popular workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign(http://zevrix.com/LinkOptimizer.php). Awarded 4 out of 5 starts by Computer Arts magazine, LinkOptimizer automates complex image manipulation tasks allowing to significantly reduce the size of InDesign job, save processing time and reduce production costs.

The new version adds support for InDesign's multi-state objects. One of the most common uses for a multi-state object is a slide show that lets viewers of a SWF file click through a set of images. LinkOptimizer can now process all images included in a multi-state object, while previous versions of the program were only able to process the active state link.

"LinkOptimizer makes cutting huge linked images down to size a cinch," says Computer Arts. "For those wanting to quickly optimize their images and cut down on processing time, LinkOptimizer is a very smart choice."

LinkOptimizer works automatically with Adobe Photoshop to eliminate the excess image data of InDesign links, perform essential image adjustments and convert image formats. For example, with just a click of a button users can:

-scale and crop images to match their dimensions in InDesign,
-change their resolution to 300 dpi,
-convert all RGB images to CMYK,
-resave all JPEG images as TIFF,
-run a Photoshop Action on each image,
-reimport images to InDesign at 100% in their precise position.

As a result, users can save gigabytes of disk space and countless hours of optimizing images manually; accelerate document output; reduce job turnaround and cut costs through faster processing.

Pricing and Availability:
LinkOptimizer can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$259.95 (Light version: $179.95) as well as from authorized resellers. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for LinkOptimizer 4.x users and $98.78 to upgrade from previous versions. LinkOptimizer is available for Mac OS X 10.4.2-10.8, a Universal Binary, and works with Adobe InDesign CS3-CS6.
