Bids For Kids is expected to draw around 250 people to support the Boys & Girls Club. The auction includes a great variety of worthy prizes. Some of the items available this year are vacations to the Bahamas and a trip to New York with tickets to The Late Show with David Letterman. Also available is rare signed sports memorabilia, golf packages and equipment, jewelry, art and many other things.
Lovering Volvo has a long history of supporting the Nashua community. Since 1998, the dealership has sponsored the Bids for Kids auction, and to this date has contributed $175,910 to the cause. Lovering Volvo is also a sponsor of the Partners 4 Kids program at the Premier Partner level. These are just a few of the ways in which Lovering Volvo supports the community.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua works to support the health and development of kids in the area. The Club provides a safe and supportive place for kids to go during the critical hours when they might otherwise be left unsupervised after school; kids have access to homework and educational resources, technology and arts, as well as athletic and entertainment options. The Boys & Girls Club is a non-profit that seeks to enable young people to realize their potential in a caring and positive environment. The organization depends on the generous donations such as those made by Lovering Volvo and attendees of the Bids for Kids Auction.
