This event will showcase two notable Medical Presentations “Hybrid Molecular Imaging (PET/CT) for the Management of Oncology”. Presented by Dr. Michael Fagien, PET/Nuclear Radiologist and Medical Director of Impression Imaging of Broward in Florida. Dr. Fagien has served as Chief of Nuclear Medicine at the University of Florida/VAMC for a decade, Dr. Fagien explored and gained expertise in oncologic imaging and the fusion of metabolic with anatomic imaging such as CT and MRI, later incorporating positron emission computed tomography (now called PET/CT). Dr. Fagien believes that the combination of functional and anatomical imaging is truly the future of radiology and diagnostic medicine.

Dr. Leone has been involved in the clinical trials and review of new orthopedic techniques and equipment. Dr. Fagien Graduated in 1986 from University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Completed his Residency in Radiology and Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the mentioned University. He is Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine since1994. He served as the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board of Radiology Corporation of America (RCOA). Dr. Fagien has worked in several medical publications since 1987.
Dr. Leone Graduated in 1984 from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Completed his Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at University of Miami, in Florida. Completed his Fellowship in Joint Reconstructive Surgery in 1993. Certified by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Listed as one of the Top Orthopedic Surgeons in Florida three years in a row (2010-2012) by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a research firm. Winner of 2000 “Doctor of the Year Award” given by The Arthritis Foundation.
