The Future Looks Bright: Power Design, Inc. Expands Data Center Division

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 14, 2012 - Power Design, Inc., one of the fastest growing electrical subcontractors in the U.S., is announcing a major expansion of its data center division led by Jason Calvert, regional vice president.

Power Design has extensive experience in the data center sector and recognizes the opportunity in this highly-specialized market.  With national resources and in-house engineering, Power Design has been able to separate themselves from the competition and has recently hired additional resources to support this strategic growth.

Power Design, Inc. recently completed an 80,000-square-foot build out project of CoreSite’s northern Virginia data center, a Tier 3 center designed to meet stringent government security requirements. The build out consisted of installing new UPS (uninterruptible power supply) distribution units, lighting, grounding, computer cooling systems and emergency shutoff systems.
