Basketball Stat Tracking & Analysis App Available for iPad

Nov. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Hachisoft Corp. announced today Basketball Stat Tracker HD for iPad® and iPad mini® is now available in the App Store for iPad. Basketball Stat Tracker is a tablet application designed for basketball coaches, parents, fans, players and enthusiasts to easily track and analyze game data without the need for the traditional stat book. The app integrates and expands on the shot tracking interface of Hachisoft’s other basketball app, Basketball Shot Chart, adding additional stat tracking for rebounds, assists, turnovers, steals and fouls.

“Basketball Stat Tracker HD is made to help keep coaches and stats keepers up to date with fast paced games,” said Bryan Dormaier, the lead Developer on the Basketball Stat Tracker project, “Using traditional shot charts and stat books, coaches often spend a considerable amount of time inputting and analyzing data. Basketball Stat Tracker for Android and Basketball Stat Tracker HD do the work for you and provide summarized data available at any point of the game.” Basketball Stat Tracker was originally designed for Android tablets and has been available on Google Play™ since early 2012. Basketball Stat Tracker HD uses a graphic interface, and tap and drag finger motions to record shots and other stats.

Basketball Stat Tracker HD users can opt to track a single player, an entire team, or players for both teams at a game. Team rosters can be entered and saved for reference.  An on-screen box score and individual player scores indicate the running game score as play progresses. Previous shots for each team are displayed on court with an onion-skinning effect to show the past few shots. At the conclusion of a game, shot data and statistics can be filtered down by game, team, or player to see individual and team performance and trends over a game or series of games.

Basketball Stat Tracker HD includes an email feature that allows users to quickly compile reports and email them to coaches and scouts for further analysis. The app’s visuals and stats provide players and teams with real data about their strengths, weaknesses and where there is room for improvement.
