Caminar's new office houses the Medication Clinic; Bridges to Wellness (a program that brings medical and behavioral health together in a holistic approach to wellness); REACH (Recovery, Empowerment and Community Housing), a 24/7 case management program; FSP (Full Service Partnership)
Centrally located and easily accessible to public transportation, the new location benefits both clients and staff alike. San Mateo Region Executive Director Lori Kandels says, "Now all of our adult case management programs are under the same roof with the medication clinic. This improves communication and leads to better coordination of care for our clients."
Longtime member of Caminar's Board of Directors, Eunice Kushman, a mental health activist and one of the most influential citizens in the history of mental health services in San Mateo County, will cut the ribbon in the opening ceremony. Representatives from the County, foundations, corporations, and friends and supporters of Caminar will also be in attendance.
Event details: Thursday, November 15; 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.; 2600 El Camino Real, San Mateo
