This film will explore the epidemic in this country that seems to go on ignored. Over 24 million children in the United States live apart from or do not know their biological fathers.
The objective of this film is to educate, inform and motivate social concern. It is a national crisis that knows no boundaries of race or gender. Dr. Doug Stringer, author of "Hope For A Fatherless Nation", will narrate the film. The film will include interviews with principals, teachers, youth counselors and pastors all located in the Lehigh Valley area. These interviews will provide sufficient context and discussion on the issues of this epidemic. Personal interviews with children being mentored by organizations like Big Brothers will lend extra power to the end result of the film, which is to promote hopeful change.
