Nov. 14, 2012 - The summer camps provided by Gold Medal Squared are designed for Junior High, High School and Club volleyball programs and teams. These are directed toward players and coaches with the idea of improvement in mind. Gold Medal Squared has claimed that these camps have seen over 300 High School Volleyball State Championships, over 1000 High School League Championships, and over 1000 High School District and Regional Championships, which are astonishing results. The camps are scheduled for 4 days and utilize 30 hours of training. Players are given a solid foundation in basic volleyball skills and coaches learn how to run drills, as well as write practices, deal with issues with the team, etc.
Gold Medal Squared is the collaborative effort of four of the most successful and experienced coaches in the history of volleyball in the United States. Dr. Carl McGown, Dr. Marv Dunphy, Dr. Doug Beal, and Jim McLaughlin bring over 100 years of combined coaching experience, and have been at the top of the game at every level: High School, Club, Collegiate, Professional Foreign Leagues, and International competition. With these summer camps, along with coaches clinics, and club camps, they hope to provide elite volleyball training to all who seek it.
