These hosted utility executives spent three days collaborating with top smart grid technology vendors discussing relevant topics like: advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), demand response (DR), distribution automation (DA), analytics, broadband, fiber to the home just to name a few. AT&T won the 2012 RSGS Best Overall Vendor Presentation for the third consecutive Smart Grid Summit event including the 2012 MSGS and 2011 & 2012 RSGS. The top three smart grid technology vendors who left the best largest impression with their entire body work at the summit were AT&T, Efacec ACS and Grid 2020. Cooper Power Systems won the 2012 RSGS Best Smart Grid Product or Solution award for the second straight year. The top vote getters competing for this award included Cooper Power Systems, Landis+Gyr and Sensus. Verdeeco won the 2012 RSGS Vendor to Watch award for the second consecutive year.
