HUDCO Pavilion Inauguration at IITF 2012 Produced a Sigh of Relief for Urban Poor

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 14, 2012 - New Delhi, Nov 14, 2012: Today, Mr. Ajay Maken, Union Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation have inaugurated the HUDCO Pavilion at IITF 2012. He has announced the revised income criteria for beneficiaries for several government schemes under his Ministry. The announcement has been made that, “Now urban poor having an annual household income of up to Rs. 1 lakh will be classified as EWS and those falling between Rs. 1 lakh and 2 lakhs would be categorized as LIG”.

In the interview with Media Persons, Mr. Makan said, “That the housing needs of the urban poor continue to be pressing”. So the main agenda for the Government of India is “Affordable Housing for All”.

The HUDCO BuildTech has always been a foremost part of India International Trade Fair. The show has always managed a beyond average response from both national and international visitors which includes the professionals from varied industries. The show will also see the participation from numerous building material manufacturers including developers like BMTPC and Sulabh International.
