BAM Outsource’s Guide to What’s on in Peterborough

Nov. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- We love our home city of Peterborough and although at BAM Outsource we carry out our direct marketing and outsource sales campaigns for our clients around the UK, we constantly keep on top of what is going on in our local community. Here is our run down of the events to look out for over the next few weeks. As you might have guessed, there’s a Christmassy theme…!

Christmas Lights - 17th November

This Saturday head down to the city centre to watch the Christmas light switch on! The Mayor of Peterborough will be joined by popular TV entertainer Chico to turn on the Christmas lights in Cathedral Square at 6pm. Chico will be singing festive songs and there will be a packed line-up of local bands and entertainment leading up to the main event. Peterborough’s Key Youth Theatre will perform dance routines on stage as well as solo performances by urban music performer Connor Harris. There will be a countdown and fireworks leading up to the switch on of the lights. The team from BAM Outsource will be down there, head down with your family and friends too.

Christmas Festival - 18th November

If you’re wanting to get ahead of the game with your Christmas shopping, the Christmas Festival will be held at Peterborough Arena on the 17th and 18th of November. There will be plenty of unique gift ideas including fantastic food stalls and hand-made crafts. Santa will also be in his grotto for young family members to visit. With great prices and great ideas all under one roof at BAM Outsource we think you’d be mad to miss out.

Circus of Horrors - 26th November

If Halloween wasn’t scary enough for you then you might want to head down to The Cresset on the 26th of November to watch the Circus of Horrors 2012. This act stormed into the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and the incredible show will have circus acts from all over the world that will have you on the edge of your seat and laughing from beginning to end. It’s bigger and badder than ever. BAM Outsource loved them on Britain’s Got Talent and we’d hate you to miss them as they roll into town.

Christmas Markets - 1st December

Every Saturday throughout December, starting on the 1st, the City Christmas Market will  be open. Another great place to do some Christmas shopping, enjoy great food and listen to festive music to get you in the mood. The markets are open from 10am until 3pm. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained.
