Super Lawyers honors no more than 5 percent of the attorneys in California.
Mr. Martin has been selected every year since 2005.
"It is always humbling to be recognized by your peers in the field", Martin said. "I thoroughly enjoy what I do for a living, and it feels great to help people when a work injury or condition threatens their ability to do their job, and provide for their family", he said.
After the radical changes to the Workers' Compensation system in 2004 under Senate Bill 899, and now even further changes made in 2012 under Senate Bill 863, achieving a fair result for disabled workers is more difficult than ever.
Mr. Martin considers it a privilege to assist disabled workers, adding "the challenge is to make certain that all the changes to the law do not interfere with the injured workers' State Constitutional right to restorative treatment and wage replacement"
Mr. Martin is frequently invited by attorney groups all over the State to lecture about the latest changes to the system, most recently to a group of nearly 400 attorneys, physicians, and other claims professionals on October 6, 2012 in Los Angeles regarding the new changes brought by Senate Bill 863.
Mr. Martin's name will be included in the Super Lawyers listing in the February, 2013 editions of the New York Times, Los Angeles magazine, and Orange Coast magazine.
