Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Continuing Education and License Renewals

PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 14, 2012 - Licensed Oklahoma Occupational Therapists have an annual renewal with continuing education hours due every even year.  To renew a license, twenty (20) continuing education hours are required.  Twenty (20) hours of continuing education are allowed for home study.  The board recognizes the American Occupational Therapy Association as a provider of Oklahoma occupational therapy continuing education.  

Continuing education’s main purpose is to ensure the highest standards for the occupational therapy profession.  All licensees are required to participate in continuing education experiences that will add to existing expertise and skill gained from previous formal education.

Professional Development Resources sponsors continuing education for occupational therapists.  Professional Development Resources maintains all responsibility for programs and content.  Oklahoma occupational therapists can earn up to twenty (20) hours of continuing education through online coursework at http://www.PDResources.org.
