Follow on Google News | Fourth Annual Nativities Around the World – Christ Centered Christmas comes to Moscow, IdahoA unique collection of over 400 nativities from around the world, crafted from native materials, and representing each culture’s interpretation of the birth of Christ.
By: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints A free event open to everyone, Nativities Around the World promises an enjoyable family experience with activities for the whole family to remind us of the importance of having a Christ-centered Christmas. Activities include listening to live and recorded Christmas music, a family room with games and activities for children, and a live nativity room where families can dress up in nativity costumes and have their picture taken and e-mailed to them for free. Nativities are on loan from local families, most in Latah County Idaho and Whitman County, Washington. Around the clock security is on site to protect these precious heirlooms. Additional nativities are always welcome. If you have a nativity that you would like showcased in the Nativities Around The World this year, please bring it to the check-in location at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints church building at 165 S. Blaine Street in Moscow. Check-in times are: Friday, November 30th, 6:00 to 9:00PM and Saturday, December 1st, 9:00am to Noon. Nativities Around the World has become a favorite Christmas tradition attracting thousands of visitors each year. Make Nativities Around the World a part of your plans this Christmas Season. Nativities will be on public display at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 165 S. Blaine Street in Moscow on Wednesday, December 5th, through Friday, December 7th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and on Saturday December 8th through Sunday, December 9th from noon to 9:00 PM.
