Charity Lynette, Skorch Magazine Healthy Curves Editor
The opportunity to work with Skorch Magazine is a great opportunity for me, says Charity Lynette, I was a big fan of the publication and to be asked to write for them about a subject that I am so passionate about is a privilege for me. Charity Lynette wants to help women understand that no matter what size you are, you can shape and embrace your Curves. Healthy eating and exercise is important in daily life, she supports the Plus Size industry 100% and she wants to help her sisters strut their healthy curves down the runway.
Charity Lynette started her healthy kick working out friends, family and contacts all the way from Portland, Or to New York City. Her brand Curvy Chick Fitness caught on so fast that soon celebrities like MTV’s Tanyka Renee, VH1′s Elizabeth Vashisht and legendary Hip Hop artist Roxanne Shante soon joined in on her workouts. The great thing about Curvy Chick Fitness is it's designed for women at any fitness level. The workout includes cardio, toning & fun.
The media has also embraced Curvy Chick Fitness, leading Charity to walk the red carpet at BET's Urbanworld Film Festival 2012, introducing the workout to with Miss Info of NYC's hottest HipHop & R&B station Hot 97fm, being featured on one of the internets most premiere sites for entertainment news Reinchild.com and writing
healthy curves pieces for Cherryontop.com, which is the site of Power 105.1 radio personality Cherry Martinez. Recently Charity was also asked to stop in on a media day for Basketball Wives LA's star "Draya" in Brooklyn and talk with her about Curvy Chick Fitness. The future is seeming real bright for this Healthy Curves Editor, we might say.
About Skorch Magazine:
SKORCH MAGAZINE is the #1 fashion magazine for sizes 12-28, also known as plus size fashion. We actually hate that term, however for women to find us - we have to say plus size.
SKORCH MAGAZINE is for trendy and fashionable women sizes 12-28 who crave a magazine that looks and feels like every other fashion magazine, but also offers fashion commentary and advice for a plus-size woman. We are the translators of “skinny” fashion to plus size. Think of us as a pinch of ELLE, a dash of VOGUE and a dab of InStyle.
SKORCH MAGAZINE is not about glamorizing being overweight or obese, but celebrating our individuality as women and our unique beauty. We absolutely feel every woman should strive to be the best version of herself, not the best version of someone else (no matter what size). Instead of waiting till you get the weight off to live your life and wear cute clothes, SKORCH Magazine believes you should be living NOW and we are here to help you figure out how to do it fashionably.
