PRLog - Nov. 13, 2012 - FRESNO, Calif. -- Chairman Claude Laval III of the Claude Laval Corporation was honored last week as one of the “Legends of the Valley.” The awards were given to the top 20 businessmen of the California Central Valley of the past 20 years, as nominated by valley residents.
Claude Laval III Honored as Legend of the Valley
The honorees were nominated and selected because of their business success, community engagement, philanthropy, and valley representation on the national and global stages.
The Laval family has been active in the Central California community for generations, with Mr. Laval himself making numerous contributions to Fresno State through the Water and Energy Technology Incubator, nurturing future innovators to continually improve and conserve our precious resources.
Mr. Laval’s father inspired the origins of the Claude Laval Corporation with his inventions, the underground survey camera and the LAKOS Separator. Today, Mr. Laval is the Chairman of both those companies that sprung from those early ideas: Laval Underground Surveys and LAKOS Separators and Filtration Solutions.
