IntegriCo Composites’ railroad ties are now installed in Class I, Short Rail and Industrial customers’ tracks in the US, Mexico, Canada and India. The Company’s flawless track record on install as well as in rail performance over the last several years has been a major differentiator for IntegriCo.
The Rapid Transit Authority placed an initial order for IntegriCo’s composite ties in August 2012 to meet their need for railroad ties that will last in wet and buggy conditions. The transit authority can expect their IntegriCo ties will last 2-5X longer than the wooden ties they used previously.
IntegriCo's VP of Operations, Ken Webber, commented, "We are very pleased with the selection of IntegriCo's composite ties by this US Transit Authority. Our customer’s confidence in IntegriCo’s ties provides further evidence we are meeting our customer’s high expectations. This contract win follows the recent three year multi-million dollar Army Corps of Engineer’s award, demonstrating again our successful track record of delivery and support. We are proud our environmentally friendly railroad ties are becoming widely recognized as the finest and lowest cost recycled plastic railroad ties in the market.”
IntegriCo Composites, Inc. is a fast growing Texas based manufacturer of composite railroad products made from recycled plastics. IntegriCo’s unique processing technology utilizes landfill-bound plastic to create railroad products that outperform others by virtually every measure including the most important —long life in track.
